A Construction Manager should have a strong background in construction along with extensive experience in project management, stakeholder management, and financial acumen. They should possess in-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry, including hotel operations and market trends, and be skilled in quality assurance and compliance. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, coupled with effective communication and interpersonal skills, are also crucial for success in this role.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil-Structural-Construction Engineering / Architecture from a recognized institution.
Minimum 7 years of experience with a strong portfolio focused on Hotels, Residences or large-scale MIXED-USE projects.
At least 2 years of experience working in an international project environment, preferably involving multicultural teams and global design standards.
Knowledge of local building regulations and planning approval processes.
Excellent communication, coordination, and presentation skills.
LEED or similar sustainability certification is an advantage
Responsibilities
Acting as client/developer representative during all stages of project and giving key decisions
To be responsible overall completion of the Projects within scope, time, cost and quality requirements.
Managing and coordinating consultants, contractors and other parties.
Responding letters and other correspondence received from Consultants, Contractors and other stakeholders related with project.
Supporting Design Team in the organization during design management
Supporting Commercial Team in the organization during procurements, contract strategy, cost and value management, tender preparation, budgeting.
To be in coordination with Legal Team in the organization for the Local Permits and other project related legal permits.
Preparation of Weekly and Monthly Reports for Budget, Time, Quality, Health and Safety, Design Status for the Project, studying and proposing necessary mitigation plans.
Attending Progress Meetings with PMCs (Project Management Companies), contractors, consultants and other stakeholders.
Will report to Project Director / Project Manager.
